Happy Fasting!

Hi.

Hope you are well.

The holy month of Purattasi (observed by most Hindus) began on the 18th of September. So, that means;

- NO MEAT & EGGS

- NO SMOKING (diediedie)

- NO ALCOHOL

- NO CURSING

- NO MASTURBATION

... for me.

To clear things a little, this restrictions are followed through by your own beliefs. Some people who observe the fast are okay with eating eggs, smoking or masturbating. It really does depend on your own beliefs. There is no such thing as forcing yourself because that just defies the whole purpose of the fast.

2+ months! WTF

I realize i keep making promises that i obviously cannot keep up to. And...

I'M SORRY. *puppy dog eyes*

I've been caught up with workworkwork. It's been really good though. But i REALLY do miss blogging. No, really. I do.

If you remember, in one of my previous posts, i had been rambling on about finding a job that has that little something-something more to offer. Yeah, so i THINK i found it. 3 months into the job. A little early to say? You think? Mmm.. Maybe. Maybe not. (I still don't wanna jinx anything though) *touches wood*

Other than work, everything else is pretty much the same. Except maybe i've gained a bit more weight. Maybe a whole lot more. I dunno. I can't tell. (Yeah, right.) *shifty eyes*

Oh, i do get manicures and pedicures pretty often these days. And i get to wear make up and sky high heels to work. And the occasional knee-high stockings that somehow manages to get a whole lot of disapproving stares. You see, i'm the youngest in the office- a little more fashion forward, a little more outgoing and outspoken. So yeah, all the women (well, all three to be exact) are married with kids and the only thing they talk about are their kids, what they plan to cook for dinner later that night or what helps them get through menopause.

Ick.

And i smoke. Like a motherfucking chimney. (No, not proud of it. Thanks.)

"Oh, my God. I didn't know you smoke! Why do you smoke?!"

Okaaay. So here's the deal. You NEVER EVER EVER ask people WHY they smoke. I mean, come on, that's like asking people why they masturbate!

But yeah, i'm coping. Adjusting to the new environment. They've stopped asking me weird questions about myself. (Like why "force" myself to wear really high heels everyday or if i have gotten breast implants) Just to set the record straight, i love wearing heels! And no, my boobs are not fake. Thanks.

Gigantic trust funds and Britney Spears.

Hello.

How are you?

Here i am, at 3.10am, TRYING to blog about something. I am officially nocturnal since i left my job. Great! So yeah, i've been getting quite a bit of negative comments on me quitting my job.

"Oh, no. What are you going to do now?"

"How are you managing?" Added with the sorrowful (fake or not, i honestly don't know) look of as though someone close died.

And the best one of all:

"OHMYGOD! WHY?WHY?WHY?"

Well, my mother's reaction was somewhat like that. Or worse. It was a little worrying at first. It ALMOST made me doubt my own decision. But hey, i had my reasons. VALID ones, okay? Seriously.

I am looking. For something of essence. I don't wanna sound like a planet saving superhero (minus the funky latex) but i've always wanted live my dreams. I've always felt like i'm here for something more. Something that's worth your time and energy.  Like feeding homeless kids or saving abused animals. Or something more practical like writing. Something MORE MORE MORE. I don't know how else to put it.

Unfortunately, in this world we live in where money talks, that isn't quite possible. Well, unless you have a gigantic family trust fund or a millionaire boyfriend.

So here i am, looking for a job. Of course i am looking for something of essence. PRAYING HARD that i'll somehow find something that i actually LIKE doing. I would hate to go back to a friggin' 9-5 job that sucks the living daylight out of you. But yeah, i guess that's pretty much how life works. This doesn't exactly mean i'm giving up on finding something i like. NO! I'm just keeping my options open at this stage.

It was my last day at FedEx today. It has been such an emotional day. I was in the office for nearly 13 hours. I couldn't leave. sniff* sniff*

I have been working with the company for almost one and a half years and it has been amazing.

My colleagues made it even harder for me to leave with the gifts and well wishes. It was a roller-coaster ride but definitely a memorable one!

And yet again i come back with an apology for not updating my blog as often i am supposed to.

If you're getting sick of the apologies, let me tell you something. I am too. I TRY and do my best to update the daily happenings in my life but i'm failing preeettyyyy badly.

Birthday pictures are still pending. I KNOOWWW. Soon kay? I promise! No, really!

Latest updates:

• I joined the gym a month ago and surprisingly i haven't lost the momentum! 3 times a week, believe it or not! (Hoping it stays that way!)
• I've started reading again!
• I watched Red Riding Hood last night. It was amazing. Dark and bloody, just the way i like it. Oh, and the soundtrack is pretty wicked too!
• My babies, Demon and Pixie are still in Port Dickson with the folks. T___T Until i get a more suitable place for them to live in.
• STILL have my bracers on. (Boohoo.)

And the BIGGEST update issss... *drum rolls*

• I'm resigning from my job. After a year and a half of Customer Service in a renowned logistics company, i'm calling it quits. Sad but true. I'm definitely gonna miss my team and the environment at work but i'm doing this to pursue something with more "essence". More updates on that soon! :)

GOSH! It's been a month since i blogged!

Surprisingly, 2011 has been treating me real well so far. I've got no complaints. I just need to find time to blog often! I've been caught up with work and everything else in between. And with all the drama, heart break and emotional meltdown has definitely turned me into a better person. *smiles*

Bummer. Sunday, already?! Time flies. I had a pretty okay weekend. I went for dinner in Tropicana Mall, then for a bit of retail therapy. (I've got new sex shoes!) *shiny eyes* I managed to do a few chores and last night i was hanging at The Hill in Jalan Dungun with Dev, Neshalany and Jas. I'd have to say the place is awesome! Very chilled out and they've got some funky-ass names for their alcoholic drinks (which tasted reallllyy good too!!)

Anyhoo, i made a promise to myself to try and update this sad blog a little more. I've been abandoning it for quite a while now. -______-

So, expect more DAILY/WEEKLY updates! (I'll try my very best, kayyy?) And believe me, with more pictures cause i know ya'll looovvveeee pictures.

The month has been a little hectic with eaarrrlllyyy shifts at work. Been a little worn out. Sorry, no updates!

Anyhooo, besides working i've been keeping myself busy watching Vampire Diaries. (I'm hooked! Thanks to Ms. Jasmine.) It's addictive, i swear!

Speaking of addictive, i made a very impulsive buy about two weeks ago. (Definitely worth it, though!) Yes, people. Some of you readers know it alreaddyyy. -__________-
